Often times, a sewer lid can be seen sunken and the asphalt around it damaged. This is often due to an underlying issue that is causing base-stone washout. If neglected, sunken storm sewers can lead to a more serious issue such as a sinkhole in which a car tire may punch a hole in the asphalt because a cavity has been created under the asphalt from all the washout (sometimes can cause serious damage to the car and potential liability issues). We can replace cast iron rings and lids, concrete adjustment rings, and collapsed or deteriorated pipeline. We can also tuckpoint precast catch basins, around pipes, and riser rings.
